“MDH have worked with us on two high-end residential refurbishments to date. The first project involved the alteration and extension to a first floor apartment in a mews building in Kensington. The site was very confined and MDH had to work carefully not to disturb the ground floor office, especially during the installation of a new staircase.
The works included the strip-out of the existing services, fittings, fireplaces and rooms and exposing the existing roof trusses. New structural openings were made and the two-bedroom apartment was extended to the rear,
with a new terrace established. The roof was re -slated and insulated. A very high quality was achieved with the timber floors and joinery, new kitchen and general
decoration and finishes”.
